To help us make sense of the Trump administration’s economic policies, and their relevance for America’s trading partners, ANZ and The New Zealand Initiative are delighted to host Daniel J. Mitchell for a special members’ lunch. He will give the latest insights on what’s happening in DC on tax reform, Obamacare, fiscal policy, immigration, infrastructure, and other important economic issues.



About the speaker

Dr Mitchell is a high-profile U.S. economist and political commentator. He is a Senior Fellow at the Cato Institute in Washington DC with expertise in fiscal policy, particularly tax reform, international tax competition, and the economic burden of government spending.

His work has been published in numerous outlets, including the Wall Street JournalNew York TimesForbesUSA Today, and even Playboy. Dr Mitchell has appeared on all the major TV networks, and has given speeches in more than 40 states and more than 50 countries.
