Amanda Boyd
Marketing & Communications Manager
Amanda is the Marketing & Communications Manager of The New Zealand Initiative. She is responsible for increasing awareness of the Initiative’s research and thought leadership, with a particular focus on communications, social media, website, and brand management.
Amanda is an events, marketing and communications generalist, often changing industry when changing roles. Before joining the Initiative, Amanda was the Events Marketing Manager at Local Government New Zealand, specialising in events, sponsorship, marketing, and communications. Amanda has also worked for a print production company, an intellectual property law firm, a retirement villages owner operator and a well-known Wellington hotel.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Commerce & Administration majoring in Marketing and Electronic Commerce & Multimedia from Victoria University of Wellington.
